Modern folk with hints of country & blues
Cowgirl Lovebrand is a folk music project based in Squamish, B.C.
Get ready to experience the raw, heartfelt sound of Cowgirl Lovebrand. Hailing from beautiful Squamish, B.C., our melodies are a blend of poetic storytelling, and a deep love for all genres of music, most notably folk, blues and a little bit of country. Our music is crafted right from heart.
Lead by singer-songwriter Samantha Sinanan, Cowgirl Lovebrand also includes the gentle grooves of Antti Makitalo on electric guitar and features a variety of guest musicians when the occasion calls.
We perform both original and cover tunes - covering artists from Joni Mitchell to Lucinda Williams, Neil Young, Melody Gardot and just about everything in between.
